This is exactly what happened to me and I opened a new thread on it. For meSorry, no. Between daytime work and the final touches to a contribution to gfortran, I have not had time. I had a mind, though, to rebuild all the libraries used by octave to see if there was some horrible incompatability creaping in. I did have time to build a static version, which worked. All my remaining versions of octave work but something wierd is happening with the command line history - all the start-up scripts are remembered.it also ruined the previous 2.1.57 octave which worked up till than. Did you find any solution yet?
