The deb package is, but theres a new one on the kmatplot site that doesn't

Has anyone tried kmatplot 0.4?
http://kmatplot.sourceforge.net/#download
How does it compare to gnuplot?
Does anyone know where I can get a Debian package?
I think it's only in unstable. See
