Shiliang,

I have not installed Wavelab on Windows. The instructions for installing on Matlab for windows will not work. I am forwarding your message to address@hidden in case somebody there already knows how to do it.

Will a user of Wavelab please send the wavelab maintainers definitive instructions and patches to make their software work with Octave?

Unfortunately, building the oct-files for windows will difficult, and it will need to be done separately for each windows release. Modifying octave so that it can recognize .mex files directly without recompiling would be a good project for someone wanting to dig into the internals of octave.
