Hi,
I mailed before about having corrections for the Octave manual. it turned out
that some functions needed their help entry fixed too (Thanks to David
Bateman for explaining me how it works).

I have now made a patch for octave based on version 2.1.57, but I would like
to test it before handing in (it should be to the sources mailing list,
right? Or to the dev one?).

Now, since Octave comes in its source package already with octave.dvi compiled
and ready, I am wondering what exactly I have to do to recompile it, so I can
check I did not break too many things ;-)
I guess it has something to do with the Makefile in the octave-2.1.57/doc
folder... but have never worked with .texi files before. All modifications
were carried out on .txi files and the DOCSTRINGS in src/ and scripts/.

Please answer quickly if you know, as I am leaving tomorrow and will be away
for ten days. Since this is a relatively quick check, I'd like to hand in the
patch by this evening (CET).

Cheers,
- -Federico
