Replot in Octave

HI

 

I am a new user of Octave, so please pardon me if my queries sound a bit silly.

 

I am doing some signal processing and found that while plotting a function (or eg FFT) and zooming in to the graph to get a better picture of the signal,  I am unable to zoom out of it. The "Replot" function in GNU replots the same zoomed-in plot and in order to get the original plot back I have to close GNU and Octave itself. Am I doing something wrong here? I would be grateful if you could help me out.
