Hello again everyone,
Just wanted to post a quick thank you to everyone who responded to my
email. All problems now solved!
It is a shame that axis can't be used in the matlab way (returning the
autoscaled axis), but I guess that's an inevitable problem with using an
external program to plot. Never mind -- there are workarounds!
