max/min in 2.1.x htmldocs?

What has happened to the documentation of the max() and min() functions
in the 2.1.x version of the interpreter manual?

They were documented in the 2.0.x manual but seem to have disappeared
from the function index of versions 2.1.35 and 2.1.42 (and maybe later as well).

Is this a bug in the doc sources or are these functions deprecated?
