loading octave on a computer

I am a novice at this stuff. I am trying to find out if there is a
.exe file for octave that I can run on my computer. If yes, we can i
get it. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I am working on a
project and adding functions to octave is one of my options. I am
trying to familiarize myself with the program.
