The Emacs program GNU Calc has this capacity. It allows `interval
forms' and `error forms': e.g.
sqrt([2 .. 4])
=> [1.41421356237 .. 2]
sqrt(3 +/- 1)
=> 1.73205080757 +/- 0.288675134595
