help with octave

I got Octave 2.0.14-25  when I bought SuSE linux 6.3 ISBN 3-934678--00-9.
I can't save my functions with instruction save, I did :
9> function escuela(dicho)
>dicho="Haga silencio";
>printf("\n Le digo %s \n',dicho);
>endfunction
10> save -ascii "salon" function(escuela(dicho))

DON'T SAVE IT !
How can I get resolve this problem ?
