Sorry, I though you had posted on another list. You cannot use the
newer versions of octave with gcc 2.95.2. I upgraded the compiler so
I could get the new version, but prior to that I downloaded an older
version that worked with 2.95.2.
The thing is, I can't remember which older version it was. I think it
was octave-2.1.34.
I'm not sure what is in gcc-3.2 that the octave developers prefer,
but that's the way it goes.
