Re: installing octave 2143

There is a binary installer for 2.1.42 at 
http://www.site.uottawa.edu/~adler/octave which I have used
successful on Windows 2000 and Windows ME.  It can coexist with a cygwin 
installation since it
uses separate registery keys.
