I dump frames from a gnuplot script as jpg
then use ffmpeg
You need to get all the frame filenames in a
easily readable format.
jpg2frame
====
#!/bin/sh
#set -x
i=1
for j in `ls *jpg`
do
i=`expr $i + 1`
nfname=`printf "%06d.jpg" $i`
echo $nfname
ln -s $j $nfname
done
jpg2movie
===
#!/bin/bash
echo $#
if [ $# -lt 1 ]
then
echo "usage: $0 movieFileName"
fi
# -r rate in HZ
# -b bandwidth which controls quality.
ffmpeg \
-r 10 \
-b 4000 \
-i '%06d.jpg' \
$1
