NaN in windows |

Hi,
I have just installed the windows version of octave 2.1.36, and when running
the code I commonly run in Linux I got an error message when trying to load
an ascii file with NaN in it. I can define a=[NaN], but when loading from a
text file it does not work. Any idea what is going on?
Thanks,
iago
