My mistake. My dislexia has hit again. I read your subject as wine.

Assuming that you're running under linux I am not sure why you bother with
this. Just compile octave natively. Is there a reason you can't do that ?

Subject: Cygwin with WinME

To whom it may concern:

I am sorry bother everyone. However, has anyone had success installing
octave with cygwin using a WinME box. My compilation keeps dying in the
final link stage as shown by the attached file. I am using the gcc given
with cygwin (Reading specs from
/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-cygwin/2.95.3-5/specs gcc version 2.95.3-5 (cygwin
special)). I am also sure I have installed all the libraries OK. I have
installed gnuplot and am just trying to get octave to compile. I have
searched the repository and could not find any reference to this. Thank you
very much for your time and assistance.
