hi,
I heard that this was the best place to get questions answered
about OCTAVE. I hope you can help.
1) how does the latest version of OCTAVE compare to MATLAB 6 ?
2) is OCTAVE multi-threaded so as to take advantage of dual processor
systems?
3) if i write my code on the latest version of OCTAVE how siple will it be
to port to MATLAB 6?
I ask the above because i have an (intel) dual processor redhat system and
MATLAB isnt able to make use of the dual processors. As part of my PhD i
will need to be doing complex simulations and would like to make the most
of the power i have.
Thanks for any help.
tim
