hello all,
i am interested in drawing a shape in a paint program, and having access to
its data in octave. since loadimage can only load octave's own format, it
seems some work is ahead for me.
i could try to implement PPM loading by reversing the save algorithm; or add
save support for octave's format to a program such as the GIMP; or pick
another image format to import. anyone know what common (presumably
uncompressed) formats are very simple?
alternately, if anyone knows of a program which converts images into
octave's format, please alert me.
my question is, what would you recommend, and why? i hope to do this in a
useful enough manner that other people might want to use my work.
thanks,
aaron.
