Hello,
From: Judith Brown <address@hidden>
# I'm a matlabber just trying out octave and am having a *terrible* time
# with 3 D graphing (and some trouble
# with plain plots )
Octave does graphics through Gnuplot. If you use emacs, you can get
help on gnuplot : C-h i then select gnuplot.
If you just want to examine surfaces (no axes, labels, no nothing),
and you have the vrml browser FreeWRL (http://www.crc.ca/FreeWRL)
installed, you can use functions "vmesh" or "vrml_browse" from
http://anonimo.isr.ist.utl.pt/~etienne/octave (I wrote them).
Cheers,
Etienne
