multiplot -> ps

Hello all,
can anybody tell me how to print on postscript or eps a multiplot?
Because the sequence:

gset term postscript
gset output "xxx.ps"
replot

doesn't work.  [The multiplot look ugly on the X11, does it improve on
ps?]
