trouble with install

Hello,
I have tested to install different release of octave from the sources on
my SunOS Solaris 2.6,
every time I obtain the same message :

make -f octMakefile all
make: Fatal error in reader: ./Makeconf, line 17: Unexpected end of line
seen
Current working directory /home/landa/temp/octave-2.1.30
*** Error code 1
make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `all'


any idea ?
