I read somewhere in the bug-octave-archive that popen2 is broken (I use 2.1.30).
When I try the example in the info pages, I get indeed:
error: popen2: error setting file mode
Can someone tell me for which version (preferably 2.1.??) popen2 works? It's
because it is used in the "simplegui" someone posted a few days earlier, and I
would like to try that...
