Steven Johnson's hdf5 patch

Octave Users,

I've just applied Steven Johnson's HDF5 patch to the Octave CVS
tree..... I like what I see, good job Steven! The patch applied smoothly
to the latest CVS sources and I was analysing my HDF5 files using Octave
in no time. Are we likely to see the HDF5 functionality included in the
stable distribution any time soon?
