question on build octave on window?

Dear Douglas Steele or another octave uses:

 

   I foolow the instruction of build octave on window

but I find when I use bash

ls commnad can not work

 

By teh command: C:\winnt\system32\command.com

bin\bash

 

I cd to /gnuwin32/b19/octave-2.0.13-i386-pc-cygwin32

then

run

./install-octave

 

but I got

cat:not found

cat: not found

 

I have cat command in /bin

and gnuwin32/bin

 

It is almost the last step for me to install octave on window2000, but not success, please help
