makeinfo with

Hi I tried to compile octave-2.1.28.
Unfortunately the makeinfo stuff is not prebuild
and I don't have makeinfo. could someone
update the distribution, so I don't have to run makeinfo?

gmake[2]: makeinfo: Command not found
gmake[2]: *** [kpathsea.info] Error 127

makeinfo is part of the texinfo distribution.
Get texinfo-*.tar.gz.

However, all GNU distributions should come with prebuilt info files,
thus makeinfo should not be needed.
