Sorry if I sound a bit negative, that is not my intention. I just thought
JPEG is probably unwanted for images (processing lossy images with a
numerical program?) and the other formats are a bit arcane. How about libpng
instead? Or both? PNG seems to be more and more of _the_ image format each
day it seems.
