Whilst I agree entirely with Heber that installing from source is best,
if you do want to try it, an rpm of f2c is at:

<http://sunsite.auc.dk/linux/RPM/conectiva/3.0/i386/conectiva/RPMS/f2c-19970805-4cl.i386.html>

This will install libf2c.so.0
