install problems

I don't have any clues about the RPM file because I don't use or make
them and have never used mklinux.

Why not get the current sources from the Octave ftp site
(ftp.che.wisc.edu)?  You can also get them via the web at
http://www.che.wisc.edu/octave.

If there are changes in the RPM file for mklinux that are not in the
current Octave sources, it would be nice if whoever made the changes
would submit them to address@hidden
