installation error

Hello,

I've tried to install the binary of Octave 2.0.9 on a Sun Sparcstation 20
running Solaris 2.5.1 and CDE 1.1.

When I invoke sh ./install-octave, I get the error message

        "install-octave: no version number"

Any suggestions as to what is wrong with my paths or what may be
missing?
