i have no idea how "artificial intelligence" works. is there any software
you know on linux systems which does this work? if there is it could
be checked how difficult it would be to port it to GNU/Hurd.

i think every practical experience with the hurd is great step forward.

if you find ways of getting people involved and make developement transparent
(mailing-lists, wikis, forums whatever), there will be most probably people 
who will join you.
