RE:Boot failed

  I made a 900 Mb partition with ext2 fs , unzipped the package into
that partition and edited grub config with the following options

  kernel (hd0,11)/boot/gnumach.gz root=device:hd2s1

  module (hd0,11)/hurd/ext2fs.static
--multiboot-command-line=${kernel-command-line}
--host-priv-port=${host-port} --device-master-port=${device-port}
--exec-server-task=${exec-task} -T typed ${root} $(task-create)
$(task-resume)

  module (hd0,11)/lib/ld.so.1 /hurd/exec $(exec-task=task-create)

  During boot I saw a error message but it scrolled off fast so I
wasnt able to read what it was

   But at last it gets frozen saying starting ext2fs.static
