Problem with glibc... |

Hi everybody there.
When i try the 'man' command, i get this output:
/usr/bin/pager: error while loading shared libraries:
libc.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such
file or directory
Okey, i look into /lib /directory and i have a file named
libc-2.3.1.so and one simbolic link named libc.so.0.3
Then i try making another simbolic link to /lib/libc-2.3.1.so
and i give it the name libc.so.6, it looks a good idea... Then
i try again the 'man' command and now the new output says:
/usr/bin/pager: /libc.so.6: version 'GLIBC_2.2' not found
(required by /usr/bin/pager)
/usr/bin/pager: /libc.so.6: version 'GLIBC_2.1' not found
(required by /usr/bin/pager)
/usr/bin/pager: /libc.so.6: version 'GLIBC_2.0' not found
(required by /usr/bin/pager)
What is happening?. Have this an explanation?, why the pager
program require an older versions?. More people with this subject?,
anybody see any solution to this problem?.
Thanks you very much, in advance.
Regards.
Jose.
