Problem booting gnumach on SCSI Adaptec AIC-7860

I have installed GNU/Hurd (the tarball gnu-20010308.tar.gz) on a machine
with a SCSI HD, but it hand after these messages:

This machine run Linux 2.2 without problem, the controller is seen under
