Package: libgss3
Version: 1.0.3-6
Severity: important
User: debian-qa@lists.debian.org
Usertags: piuparts
Control: affects -1 + libgss-dev

Hi,

during a test with piuparts I noticed your package fails to upgrade from
'lenny' to 'squeeze' to 'wheezy' to 'jessie' to 'stretch' to 'buster' to
'bullseye'.
It installed fine in 'lenny', and upgraded to 'squeeze', 'wheezy',
'jessie', 'stretch', and 'buster' successfully,
but then the upgrade to 'bullseye' failed.

>From the attached log (scroll to the bottom...):

  Preparing to unpack .../17-libgss3_1.0.3-6_amd64.deb ...
  Unpacking libgss3:amd64 (1.0.3-6) over (1.0.3-3) ...
  dpkg: error processing archive
/tmp/apt-dpkg-install-mPZZEz/17-libgss3_1.0.3-6_amd64.deb (--unpack):
   trying to overwrite '/usr/share/locale/en@boldquot/LC_MESSAGES/gss.mo',
which is also in package libgss0 0.0.23-3

libgss0 seems to have survived a very long time along libgss-dev
which got constantly upgraded.

cheers,

Andreas
