Well, gcc-4.5 has been released.  One of the improvements gcc has
achieved is the support for C99's complex data type.  According to
http://gcc.gnu.org/gcc-4.5/c99status.html
the support for complex has been `done'.

Hope it can eventually be used in productive codes.
