I cannot find out, where I installed Grub2 sometime ago ? How do I do that?
bootinfoscript should be able to find out where GRUB is installed. Also, if GRUB was installed by the distribution, the distribution system tools may keep track of the location. For example in Debian with BIOS/legacy boot :
debconf-show grub-pcIf the system uses EFI boot, GRUB is typically installed in the mounted EFI partition, in a directory efi/<distro>.
