Hello,
I have following question:
I'm Running an Ubuntu 16.04 Laptop and have observed following behaviour
Start Ubuntu: after starting I check with sudo grub-editenv list
Result ==> Empty output ==> OK
Suspend to Disc ==> Hibernate ==> Sytem hibernates properly
I wake up the system ==> sytem wakes up properly
Check again with
sudo grub-editenv list
Result: recordfail=1
Question? is that the normal grub behaviour after suspend to disc?
Content of etc/default/grub
GRUB_DEFAULT=saved
GRUB_HIDDEN_TIMEOUT=0
GRUB_HIDDEN_TIMEOUT_QUIET=true
GRUB_TIMEOUT=0
GRUB_DISTRIBUTOR=`lsb_release -i -s 2> /dev/null || echo Debian`
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash"
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX=""
GRUB_RECORDFAIL_TIMEOUT=0
Thanks a lot for your support
