I use "grub" command to access files before file system support is not
available. Or while file system is partially corrupted (i.e. cannot be mounted)
The command "cat", "find", and " blocklist" in the grub shell are very useful
...

The "grub" command in grub legacy was most commonly used as a (rather
clunky) way to install grub legacy to the boot sector and embedding area of a
drive. To install grub2 you should use grub-install. If you're not trying to
install grub, please explain what your end goal is.
