"grub-install" and "setup" for the grub2 builtin command line

Hello,

I want to burn a cdrom boot loader that contains just the built in
command line. For grub legacy I did it very well.
Before making any cdrom I would want to know what is the equvalent of
"grub-install" for the built in command to patch the boot sector. grub
legacy use "root" and "setup" but I didnt see any like this on grub2.
