I've compiled and installed the latest version from git master branch
and got similar result:
error: failure reading sector 0x041 from 'hd0'.
error: no such partition
error: no such partition
error: no such partition
..
MB BIOS is AMI v.2.67 from 2010, chipset ICH10R, USB stick with a
single ext4 root partition.
I still wonder, if grub was able to read grub.cfg, why can't it read
the same root partition later?
