I believe that CentOS/RHEL still use grub legacy by default, which
hasn't had an upstream for over 5 years and is not supported here. You
can use grub2 with CENTOS/RHEL, though I'm not sure what *they*
support. If you'd like support here you'll need to upgrade to grub2,
otherwise you'll have to try other venues like CENTOS specific support
channels.
