GRUB 2 GFXMenu

Hi guys,

I just set up a debain Squeeze machine and am running the Grub on it that came 
with it, which should be a Grub2 v1.99. I just tried to use the themes like 
described in the help file on the website, but for some reason the theme doesnt 
show up. instead i get a standard text-type bootscreen.

what do you guys exactly need to help me with that?
