The loopback.cfg thing is exactly what I'm looking for. Strange I did
not find it in the Ubuntu docs, it seems it's rather new.
It seems to me that this is not exactly basic use of GRUB2, but I think
it's a very helpful application of loopback and lua in GRUB2. Any chance
to document this feature in GRUB2 manuals? Any plan to
coordinate/document a common mechanism for booting iso images or disk
images?
