Hello,
Having selected save all old versions when installing Ubuntu 9.10, I now have
more than a screen full of versions in the grub boot menu. I have looked in
the official manual and the scripts in grub.d without learning how to change
the behavior to save 2 old versions. Is that behavior controlled by GRUB2? If
so where should one search for how to change the setting. My Windows XP O/S is
of course at the bottom of the list with Linux as the default where it should
be. The prober finds XP on two drives but I would be happy to find how to
block one of them from appearing in the boot list.
Tnx,
Randy
