Hello! What steps are you taking? I mean what are the steps on the keyboard thatyou are using?
Hi Gregg, Thanks for your reply.Upon boot, rEFIt comes up with three choices: Linux - OSX - EFI Boot from USB Key. I choose EFI from USB. As expected, GRUB2 is loaded from the USB Key and presents it's list of options. Currently that's just "Cute Key Loader". I press ENTER and am then frozen.
Back when Macs still wore a PowerPC under the covers, a chap who owns one, wrote about getting his to bring up YDL (Yellow Dog Linux), supposedly the only one also blessed by that community, to boot that way he used a series of keystrokes. There's an interesting article on what happenedin Linux Journal, that website is www.linuxjournal.com
I took a look at a few posts on YDL with PPC, but they do not seem to discuss GRUB2, EFI, or USB Key booting...
Again, thanks for your input but unfortunately it doesn't seem to address this particular issue.
rEFIt can be found at http://refit.sourceforge.net/ Regards, Trevor Peirce
