Help finding GPROF

Hello

I would like to find source code or MacOSX binary for the GPROF program.

Compiling C code using gcc and -pg option, the GPROF that comes with  
MacOSX (10.4.5) produces all zeros in the 'timing' columns, which is  
of no use at all when trying to optimize code.

I have searched high and low, on Fink, google, Mac support and on  
GNU's site, but cannot find a solution.

Any help would be appreciated.
