Right.
If you're curious: I have a set of scripts that builds a gnu toolchain
from the ground up on old minicomputer versions of Unix like hp-ux and
osf-1. I bet a lot of people have done the same thing.
To avoid bootstrapping problems with the vendor make, I use build.sh
to build gnu make.
When I ran into the problem with build.sh, I reported it upstream
(2003-02-14) and just backed off to 3.79.1 pending the next release.
