Hello,

I was unable to find a specifc mailing list to email quesitions about a
problem I'm having with the interpretation of my .emacs file on different
computers.

As long as I launch emacs through exceed I get my color codes and
everything is readable, but if I launch emacs from a linux machine to a
linux machine I get upredictable behavior. For instance I may not get the
colors specified in my .emacs file or I may get a background around
certain charcters that is the same color as the character and makes the
characters unreadable.

I have spent many hours on this problem and asked many people.

Please help.
