I am trying to write a command that yanks and marks the yanked text --
the equivalent of C-y C-x C-x -- with Transient Mark Mode. The obvious
implementation does not work:
(defun yank-and-mark/rr (&optional $arg)
(interactive "*P")
(yank $arg)
(exchange-point-and-mark))
I have tried cleverer implementations, but I will spare them for
another day ;)
Thank you.
