These messages do not mean much, in any case they do *not* mean errors."Might not be defined at runtime" expresses that in the byte- compiling environment this function was loaded from some external source or it was not found in the dumped image; look into loadup.el! "The following functions are not known to be defined" describes a similiar situation.
