Hello all,
I've SuSE8.1 with Emacs 21.2.1 on it. It ran okay in the beginning. I
installed JDE for Java development on it.
In the very X session I installed this everything seemed to be alright, and
Emacs started with JDE. In that session I also installed Xemacs, but I
didn't check afterwards the behaviour of Emacs.
After rebooting I got the message:
x-resolve-font-name: No fonts match
`-efont-fixed-medium-r-normal-*-12-120-75-75-c-60-iso10646-1'
JDE didn't start any more, only in the console.
I tried in .Xresources (hints Google gave me...):

!! END intlfonts setup
Now my Emacs looks totally different but the problem survived the changings.
In .emacs I tried:
(create-fontset-from-fontset-spec
"-misc-fixed-medium-r-normal-*-18-*-*-*-*-*-fontset-standard")
/* that should be one line, same as above */
xlsfonts of course doesn't list the font in question. Only some seemingly
similar ones.
"xlsfonts | grep iso10646-1 | grep fixed-medium" gave me:
-misc-fixed-medium-o-normal--13-120-75-75-c-70-iso10646-1

Can one get this font somewhere, or how the heck can I tell Emacs to resort
to one of the many others...?
Thanks in advance for any hint or idea!
Kay
